A TikToker Raises $170,000 For Older Walmart Worker So She Can Pay Off Her Mortgage And Retire.
The name of the TikToker is Devan Bonaguara, he posted on his account a Walmart worker sitting alone in the break room, her name is Nola.
Since he posted the video, it has been viewed more than 26 million times, the caption on this video was “life shouldn’t be this hard”.
The video went viral and all the comments were encouraging Devan to make a GoFundMe page to help this lady out.

In another video, Devan managed to talk with Nola and she said that she needs $170.000 to pay her mortgage and retire eventually.
In the video, she said: “That’s what’s holding me at work, the house.”
Almost 13.000 donors helped to collect $170.000 using the GoFundMe page and it took them only a couple of days.
Nola’s granddaughter thanked Bonaguara for his incredible act of kindness.
She said in a video: “I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, for what you did for me and also my family. It means a lot to all of us that you did this for her and it was a very kind thing for you to do, Thank you very, very much from all of us.”
Based on Devan’s story, he was fired from his job at a third-party company inside Walmart due to the threats Walmart was receiving because of his TikTok post.
On the 4th of November he said in a video: “They’re getting a lot of backlashes, so they told me I need to delete the video and delete the GoFundMe and return all the money to the people that donated it or they’re going to get the cops involved, So, I told them to do what you have to do because I’m getting this money to this woman one way or another.”
