The entire world was hurt after the death of one of the music icons Bill Withers.
As a result of a heart condition, the news affirmed that Bill passed away on march 30, 2020.
Withers curved the music of the mid 20th century. With his rare ways to the genres of soul, R&B, and funk, he reached the recognition worldwide and had some good music on the Billboard charts through his fruitful career. Until now, people still listen to his music. Although, it turns out that Stevie Wonder drafted Withers into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2015. Wonder shared some love and compliments with his friend on that day.
That day, and on that particular show many good things happened along with a touching speech from Bill as well.
Another memorable thing happened when Stevie sung Bill Wither’s breakthrough song, “Ain’t No Sunshine,” with the artist himself on the same stage and show.
But Wonder as well brought his magic into the song and that was no surprise for him.
The show begins with some jokes.
Wonder said “I could be here to assist him on the Harpejji player,” then he starts his spectacular performance of the song. Stevie brought some funk vibes to the show as he played the hid instrument. After some seconds in his performance, he was able to amaze Bill and the audience.
the bass and synth entered to accompany Wonder, as they reached the second verse.
Withers complemented Stevie’s Harpejji again, providing a strong vibe to the song. Bill’s soul ballad immediately become a catchy song as Wonder converted it into one of his own.
The entire audience was impressed as they make it to the middle of the track.
Stevie’s musical touch was phenomenal.
As soon as they reached the bridge of the song, he harmoniously hooked the notes he sang the repeated sequence of the lyric “I know”, granting it to assemble until the song confiscated to the verses.
Bill was fascinated with Stevie’s marvelous vocalizations.
He can’t help it but smile while looking at Wonder performing the whole show.
Stevie just gave the song an awesome legendary touch.
The stage was brimming with Wonder’s stormy voice as he hit the roof with a ton of high notes during the song’s outro. He just made some extemporizations during the song, as if he was the lead singer.
You can easily see Stevie’s consistent admiration for his fellow artist as the track comes to an end.
The whole crowd gave them a long standing ovation in the end.
This performance shows the legends never dies and Withers name will always be remembered.
