In Greenwood, South Carolina, a couple named Jay and Judy Brissey are known all over the state for their generosity. They are a frequent visitors to Chick-fil-A so every year their score of the restaurant award points is getting higher and higher until this year they reach 202,000 Chick-fil-A points.

The couple found a clever way to give back to their community. They used half of their Chick-fil-A points to buy a tasty lunch for the Burton Center, a local facility that supports individuals with disabilities and special needs.

Judy used to teach in this center, and it was very emotional for her to reconnect with some of her old students, saying, “I’ve gotten a little emotional because it brought back a lot of pleasant memories,”

On the other hand, Jay thought about the gesture “Some of them may not get to go to Chick-fil-A at all. They may just see it on the commercial or something like that,”

However, their generosity seems to continue. On the 5th of December, using their remaining 101,000 Chick-fil-A points, the couple plans on feeding the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home.

In the end, Judy discussed their motives, saying, “I don’t do it for the recognition—the only one I want to get recognition from is God. I want Him to get the glory for this, not me.”
